Story

Ninjas still exist in Japan today, with a population of approximately 200,000.

There is a ninja organization called "NIN (National Intelligence of NINJA)"
that operates independently from civilian control by the government.
Its elite members engage in covert activities such as assassination and sabotage.

There is another ninja organization,
"UN (Under Ninja)", that opposes "NIN".

What awaits at the end of the ninja conflict?

And what is the fate of Kumogakure Kuro and the other lower-ranking ninja, who have been deployed to the front lines of the battle?
